CLINICAL OBSERVERSHIP

Curriculum in Detail

The observership is characterized by the following features:

  • Get to know a modern hospital organisation
  • Participation in morning visits
  • Participation in clinical conferences and case demonstrations
  • Access to anamnesis (assumed by the closing of a data security contract)
  • Get to know diagnosis and therapy methods
  • Discussions with mentors and responsible physicians
  • Monitoring the use of technical units and get to know specific applications
  • Monitoring of surgeries and other invasive interventions
  • Get to know best-practice methods at a high medical level
  • Care of a special patient in order to be able to furnish a comprehensive case study - commentated by the mentor - at the end of the observership.
